EURO
EURO is declined into CENTS. Euro symbol is

This currency is put in circulation the 2002/1/1 in the adherent European countries at the euro in parallel with the existing currencies.
To adhere to the euro the countries must respect the " criteria of convergence " (levels maxima): rate of debt, rate of inflation, interest rate, budget deficit.
The current candidates are: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden.
On March 25, 1998 the European Commission drew up the list of the countries which recommends to form part of the European Monetary Union: Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Finland.
On May 2, 1998 this list was confirmed officially
by the Ministers for the European Union.
The countries not selected (Denmark, Great Britain, Sweden, Greece) will be
able to become members when they satisfy the criteria of convergence.
On January 1, 2001 Greece joined
Euroland.

2007 january:
Slovenia comes in Euroland , Bulgaria & Romania come
in Europa.
